My 2$ 17 ounce can (with same label pictured here) from chalet premier says its brewed by Carlsberg Marston Brewing Woverhamptn UK. Pour is deep brownish orange darker pale. Nice big head that fades after a few minutes. Sweeter aged old pale lager nose, date code is june 2025. Yep, taste is sortah the same, reminds me of an old case of macro pale lager that aged for a couple of years. Not bad, just a little difficult to deal with. In the middle maybe some shades of odd candy in there like a vienna, not sure. As I approach the end, I think I may be getting a slight warming sensation? No way. Would like to try this fresh cold on tap and see what it really tastes like. Not impressed but hey, there you have it.

Pale chestnut brown with a frothy / creamy off-white head and a soft malty aroma. Light bodied with a touch of creaminess, fruit malt with a hint of floral hop character.

Sweet malt/biscuit malt nose. Slightly more hops and biscuit malt taste than standard Canadian mass produced ales ( or Keith’s IPA which is actually a weak ale). I will finish this can, as opposed to many of its domestic Ontario rivals. (Amending my report - I couldn’t finish it.)

I was disappointing with this I.P.A. The hop is really discreet, malty but there is a lack of feature, body. Copper color, 01.04.16

[50cl can from Home Bargains, Bracknell.] A hazy amber pour with a thick white head; sweet malty aroma; rather thin in the mouth with a jammy malt taste; then a light earthy bitterness. Over pasteurised, reminds me of most bottled "IPAs" from last century.

I was disappointing about this beer. The taste of banana is symply too strong, erasing the taste of malt and hop, 31.05.2016, buying it at one supermarket, during a beer trip, in Luxembourg, drinking it at Lausanne, Prélaz, not.good at all, too sweet, really disgusting, in point of view.

Old rating - A 500ml bottle from Ringwood brewery shop. Pours a dark brown with a creme head. Aromas & tastes of sweet bread, caramel, biscuit, trickle tart, toffee, almonds & banana. Medium body. Smooth sweet finish. Very interesting & enjoyable beer. A desert in a pint glass.
