"Jessenhofke RSRV", Stubbifläschchen von Belgoshop.de, 30.6.2026. - Dunkles Rotbraun, trüb; üppiger aber rasch zusammengefallener Schaum. - In der Nase vor allem Süße, Kirschsaft, Münchner und Röstmalz, nur leichte belgische Hefe und milde herbale Hintergrundhopfung. - Antrunk sämig karamel- und röstmalzig mit massiver Rohrzuckersüße, gut ausbalanciert durch Malzbittere und zart stechende säuerliche-herbe Frucht. Im Abgang erdig-hopfige und zunehmend röstige Bittere, etwas rauh. Milder rezent. - Schweres aber nicht übermäßig komplexes belgisches Starkbier mit fetter Röstmalzigkeit. Wirkt noch etwas unreif.

Aroma of spicy yeast, fruits, pale malt, citrus, strong floral notes, hint of hops. Flavour is light sweet with a light bitter finish. A bit run-of-the-mill, but easily drinkable and fairly tasty. Not bad at all considering the ABV.

Aroma of malt, caramel, raisins, dried fruits, herbal notes, hint of hops. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light to moderate bittersweet finish. Alcohol is fairly well hidden. Not the biggest Quad on the block, but dried fruits and slightly hoppy character are in its favour.

Bottle from Beerwulf. As BRWN. Aroma is brown malt, caramel, spicy yeast, brown sugar, notes of dried fruits and a hint of cocoa. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Falls a bit flat.
