Description
The organic brewing project of Gert Jordens, official since 2010 but active as a home brewer since 1999. Originally the beers were made at the Proefbrouwerij but production moved to Anders (and sometimes Strubbe) in 2013. One of the very few Belgian brewing companies which produce only organic beers; hops are exclusively sourced from Joris Cambie's organic hop farm in Poperinge. Exports 22% of its production, primarily to the Netherlands.

Light golden with small very bubbly white head. Yeast, yoghurt, grassy and herbal hops. Taste is medium sweet, with sour touch and bitter hoppy finish. Light bodied, with slightly watery feel and nice full carbonation. Yes it’s light like the bottle says, but stil tasty and the palate is not bad.

Clear reddish brown with off-white head. Roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, spices and some raisins. Sweet at first but with a big bitter kick. Medium bodied, nice, almost chewy carbonation but a slightly thin feel at first. Gets better after it’s been in the glass a while. Overall quite nice.

Aroma of sweet, candied, dried fruits like dates and raisins. Flavour has these elements too, quite sweet in fact but also with a woody dryness which balances it quite well. Seems like it could age well.

Hazy orangy golden. Grassy, malts, some yeast, alcohol. A hint of peach and some spicy and burnt notes too. Medium bodied, slightly thin mouthfeel and lots of alcoholpresence. Hmmm, I think the alcohol is too much, and I don’t care for the burnt notes, but otherwise a decent tripel sort of beer.

Hazy pinkish salmon colour, white head. Light aroma, quite fruity, canned strawberries. Light sweet, fruity flavour. Quite dry. Finish fruity, canned strawberry, rhubarb. Starts out quite fresh and decent, but a full 75cL bottle is too much, it could do with a bit more body imho.

Dark brown with a orangy hue. Light tan head. Bubblegum, pineapple, banana. Then coffee, chocolate, toffee and brown suger. Nice spices as well. Sweet, but balanced with a hint of tart citrus and a slightly bitter finish. Medium to thin bodied, later a bit more alcohol presence. Overall a nice beer, just as good as some more celebrated ones. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Gringel Bells on 11 Sep 2015 at 14:12 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. Bottle shared at ABC Beers tasting. Pours hazy brown with a medium tan head. Aroma of overripe fruit, caramel, dough. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied, thinner than expected with soft carbonation. Good but should be fuller bodied. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Gringel Bells on 11 Sep 2015 at 14:03 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.
