Pour is kind of a hazy blonde with a foamy white head. Aroma is on the sweeter side but I also get a herbal hop not usually found in this style. Flavor is again pretty much all herbal hop notes with a super dry chalky finish. This isn't terribly exciting but also a bit different in a good way.

Can pour from Total Wine & More, Brentwood. Appearance is very dark brown with mild sparkle, 2-finger width tan foamy head with decent retention and light leggy lacing. Aroma is roasted malts, nuts. Taste is stronger roasted malt (almost smoky) and nuts than aroma. Hint of dark/baker's chocolate. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and dry finish as taste. Overall, no pretension here as not adjuncts or anything fancy but a solid straightforward porter. Quite good for what it is.

16 oz. can. Shared by tfontana, thanks Tom. Aroma is cocoa, yeast, nuts. Flavor is a reflection with some lingering chocolate and a good mouthfeel for the style. Damn near creamy texture. Respectable.

Pour is a brown like a barley wine with a small tan head. Aroma is a pretty decent toact vienna malt. Flavor is again a nice toasted malt with some black bread and a minor tootsie roll sweetness. This is a pretty good Americanized version of a marzen.

Pour is a dark brown with a smallish white head. Aroma is herbal with some rosemary making a big appearance. Flavor is more rosemary and this gives off a patchouli incense herbalness. Very spicy and herbal and different. I would not say this is a IPA this is more spice ale and pretty decent at that.

Pour out of the can is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is a grain English style malt with a decent herbal hop. Flavor is more of the aroma. Some maris otter type malt bill and some old school English herbal hops. The hops are so herbal that this has some tea flavor after the swallow. Decent and different enough to give this a sample.

On tap. Pours a fairly clear gold with a thin head and aromas of honey, maybe a little papaya and some pineapple. It has an off flavor that is reminiscent of home brew from extract or something kind of a tang. Other than that, it’s a nice IPA.

Pour is a clear tan with a large white head. Aroma is a very slight coffee with a sweet malt. Flavor is again a very slight bitter coffee with a little roast left on the tongue. The problem with this beer is that this is an IPA and I get no hops whatsoever. As a coffee beer this is barley o.k, as a IPA this is poor.

Pour is a hazy orange with a large pillowy white head. Aroma is some citrus fruit although I can't really tell what fruit is showing up. Flavor is more generic fruit flavoring and I get almost no sense of hops or bitterness. This is also way soft on the palate and watery. I'm not a fan of adding fruit to IPA's anyway but here it seems this skimped on the hops and went all in with pineapple juice and even that did not show up all that much.
