In 2006 Nils Oscar outgrows the premises on Kungsholmen and the brewery moves to Fruängskällan in Nyköping, we feel at home here. When the brewery has reached its maximum capacity of 1,000,000 litres in 2013, another expansion starts, out with the old and in with the new. We now have a modern brewery and equipment that makes us very quality assured.

Bottle
Pretty orange amber, low tanned head. Delicate chewy malt and grassy hop aroma. Fine fruity baseflavor with a lovely subtle pine and grass counterpoint, slightly thin and metallic center though - body is comparably light. Grassy and light roasted aftertaste.

Best before August 2005 33cL bottle consumed on 12/4/05. Sent to me from Bogdi1, thanks Juha!
Pours a deep cherry pie meat red, with some burnt ambers, light beige and auburns swirling about, and a mostly diminishing off-white head that is retained well at cover and provides ample lacing. Plenty of sediment in the bottle and appears to be bottle conditioned.
Aroma is sweet and creamy, with only light fruits (cherries, raisins, light berries) and mainly a sweet caramel and vanilla cream. Fresh toasted barley malts, with even some green, leafy, lightly spicy hops. Full and round, it’s one of those aromas that really fills up the senses. Flavor is unlike any other Oktoberfest I’ve had. Lacking the grainy, drying, bready maltiness that is so dominant to the style, this one has a more reserved, creamy sweetness, toffee and caramel with vanilla and a fair amount of hop flavor (green, leafy, lightly spicy floral notes). Moderate bitterness on end as well complements the creamy sweet malts. Relatively low roast character, a slight dark brown bread sort of aspect is passing, with more earthiness and light spice. Low, natural carbonation and a creamy, fluid texture. The hops are amped up a bit in this example, moreso than traditionally done, but not too much so that it ruins the balance. No alcohol apparency, surprisingly light yeast apparency.

Dark redish amber colour with a medium-sized head. Malt and chocolate aroma. Malty, slightly roasty chocolate flavour. The alcohol shows up in the finish.

Bottle. Quite aromatic hoppiness. Pale golden colour, looks a bit flat. A little citric start, then turns to a flavour that is too much like other lagers. OK malty, a little dusty.

Bottle. Very nice hop aroma, and quite malty. Toffee colour, small head. Malty flavour. Also a little sweet in a way that could be characterized as christmassy. But not enough alcohol to really make me happy.

Amber colour. Long lasting white head. Aroma is malty, fruity and hoppy. Has a sweet fruity taste with lots of bitterness. It is a good beer but not the best.

Amber colour. The head could’ve looked better. Hoppy aroma of orange peels and a little bit of liquorice. Fruity flavour of dried apricots and pineapple. The bitter finish lasts forever.

[At Stockholm Beer Festival 2005] An orange beer with a beige head. The aroma is totally dominated by hops, while the flavor besides hops contains notes of caramel, and straw and has a dry end, but the body is somewhat thin. British in its interpretation of IPA.
