Always experimenting and expanding
We brew in small batches in our 15 barrel brewery and we’re always experimenting with new recipes. Dan and Pat ,with previous experience from the wine world, get to marry the fascination with the natural world and the art and science of fermentation.
Dan keeps cooking up some good recipes and Patrick the builder keeps finding ways to add more tanks and increase our production.

Bottle, thanks to Yourilevesque. Pours hazy bright yellow with large foamy off-white head, citrus aroma, medium carbonation, lightly bitter citrus peel taste, somewhat thick body, long hoppy finish. The citrus flavor is a bit too dominant.

This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a quickly dissipating finger’s worth of white foamy head. Thin spread out lacing clings around the glass nicely.
The aroma starts off with sharp sweet mango, crisp sweet pineapple, and traces of dried pine needle. Bitter lemon rind comes in underneath for the balance.
The flavor proceeds upon all of the previously mentioned aromas capturing the tropical fruits of it up front with a sweeter side controlling the bitterness. The aftertaste is the same and leaves fairly quick along with it’s finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation feels good. Bitterness units seem just harsh enough hitting my tongue appropriately.
Overall, Foley Brothers always brewing up the great IPA’s. It’s what they do best.

Growlette from Winooski Beverage.
This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a clear yellow color with a messy ring-like lacing around the glass. Head stuck around for a half minute.
The aroma starts off with some sweet citrus to light breadiness. Peppercorn spice is extremely faint.
The flavor leans citrusy sweet. Slight bready aftertaste. Quick wet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a great sessionability about it. Carbonation runs thin with a light stickiness to my tongue.
Overall, as a witbier, let’s just say it’s a witbier light. I think most Belgians would be insulted to try this and think Americans can’t replicate this style. Wishing Foley Brothers would stick to their IPA’s that’s how they fascinate the rest of VT. Probably wouldn’t come back to.
This is a delight. Tad fruity, easy drinking, no idea the abv

Keg at the Reservoir - Waterbury, VT. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds pale bread, gooey pine, ripe citrus, orange, grapefruit. Medium to heavy sweet flavour with more gooey pine, rich pale malts, melon, mild alcohol, orange. Full bodied, lightly oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Lightly warming and resinous to finish,, with more pale bread, touches of honey, orange, tangerine, melon and pine. Good one. Robust and punchy. Excellent.

Bomber Burnt orange no head. Baked oranges. Baked apples. Smoke and licorice. Flavor is smokey, birch, maple and cinnamon. Malt brings a density and thickness. But too much.

Bomber hazy orange. Smells like sweet clementines. Has a slightly higher old flavor. Pine, ginger, cereal, more pine and tangerine. Faded to overall

22oz bottle pours out a apricot color topped with a white head. Nose is big floral hops melon citrus fruits and a nice sweetness. Taste is more of the heavy hops fruit melon caramel sweetness.
