Bottle at some place in Riga. As Alkimikis Barley Wine. Hazy orange amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of metal, sugar, alcohol, light fruity. Flavour is quite raw, alcohol, some metal, light fruity, some bitterness. Medium bodied. Tastes like a cheap strong lager to me.

Bottle at Bierhaus. Dark brown colour, off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, hint of roast and coffee, smells promising. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, caramel, roast, coffee, bitter hoppy finish. Light bodied. Good.
