(Keg at Bierhaus, as Al??mi?is Pale Ale, 20170105) The beer poured deep amber and cloudy - resembled mud. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were caramel, fruitiness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A rather musty pale ale.

Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, Belgian style yeast, malts, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, hoppy and bitter. A rather good hoppy saison.

Shared bottle at local tasting. Golden colour, large white head. The aroma has moderate farmhouse notes, not so much hops. Lovely spicy and herbal flavour, some hops but hardly an IPA - but who cares, this is GOOD!

Flaske delt på RBHD-treff hos Odd Gunnar nov-16: klar lys gylden med fint skum som varer. Som varer. Interessant og frisk farmhouse-aroma med lys malt, krydder, urter, stikkelsbær. Behagelig krydret smak med fin maltbalanse og passe sødme. Halvtørr og god ettersmak. Lettdrikkelig.

Share bottle at RB/HD at Gunnar´s 29.11.16. Hazy pale straw colour. Foamy, dense and persistent white head and lacing. Refreshing aroma, with sour citrus, sour tropical fruits and succade. Similar taste, with green grass and lychee.

From tap at Bierhaus Riga with KL, TS, AMH, SHS and EH 24.09.16. Translucent urine colour, as after a long weekend. Some white head. Aroma and taste of meadows, fresh grass and coriander. Rather waterish. No hint of malt in taste.

From tap as Alķīmiķis Saison at TAKA bar in Riga with KL, TS, AMH, SHS and EH 24.09.16. Clear golden. Dense and persistent white head and lacing. Fruity aroma of pale malt and coriander. Similar taste and aftertaste, with weissbier, ripe banans and coriander. Good drinkability.
