Draught @ Ginger Man. Clear amber color with medium sized off white foamy head, faint hops aroma, well-balanced sweetish hoppy taste, full body, low carbonation, medium finish. Quite a smooth IPA.

Tall boy. Mostly clear gold with ample carbonation. Aroma has a moderate herbal character with light citrus and very mild pine. Throughout the sip I detect a herbal / earthy lingering note that no doubt comes from the tea. The citrus is on the mild side with the pine a weak after-thought in the finish. The mouthfeel has a light zing that makes it lively. I finished the 16 oz. rather easy but I was not craving more afterwords. I like the creativity from the brewer.

Can: Black, with a slightly purplish, dark tan head. Light, smoky chocolate scent. Slightly over-cooked coffee, bitter chocolate taste... Light ashy bitter. Not bad, but pretty weak and watery overall. Needs a bit more punch....and less phantom.

12 oz. can. Stamp on bottom of can says 1/15/2015, nice and fresh! Full fluffy head that had great retention on a dark brown liquid. Aroma is coconut flakes, chocolate and mild nuts.
The flavor starts nutty (almonds, walnuts) base of the beer has a light level of cocoa/ chocolate malts. In the finish is where I find the mild tones of coconut. Very mild, I can smell it a bit more then I can taste it. This Porter reminds me of Fiddleheads Hodad Porter, just substitute the vanilla for the almonds that Baxter uses here in this one. Subtle.

16oz can from Bert’s Citrus, onion, pine, and earth aromas abound, but damn thats bitter with and alcohol burn. Almost could stand a bit more malt for balance.

From sampler pack: pours black with a nice creamy head. Aroma is vanilla and cocoa. Taste is a little sweet but not too muchly. There be some tasty roast but again nothing that is too overwhelming. Basically this is a nicely balanced stout that hides it true size a little.

Variety pack: pours orange with a white head. Aroma is citrus, pine, and resin. Taste is sweet, then bitter and citrusy. Finish is bitter too and goes into a hoppy aftertaste. Not extreme, but packs some punch. Good.

Can shared in Hoboken. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Nice aroma with ripening, juicy fruits, some orange and other citrus, pale bread. Medium sweet flavor with a bit of booze-soaked citrus fruits, orange, mango, melon, some husky grains, grassy and woody bitterness. Full bodied with average carbonation. Hot finish with more ripe fruits, orange, some fusel alcohols, more wood, grass, pine. Not bad, if a bit heavy.
