Draft @ Bull Finney, Portland , ME, Hazy amber color with nice retention served in a Baxter glass. Nice nose of spruce, bready malt and citrus. Taste is spot on the nose. Meduim body, Really balanced IPA, not going to blow you away with bitterness. Real easy to drink, very tasty.

New IPA in a can, yes please! Pours a crystal clear deep copper color with a huge fluffy white head that takes forever to recede and leaves lots of sticky lace on the edges of the glass. Smells of citrus hops up front, grapefruit and a hint of lemon with some pine and resin thrown in for good measure. There’s a solid malt backbone there, bready, caramel, honey malts. Taste is a bit maltier than I expected. Lots of bread and caramel sweetness. Kind of light on the hop flavor, although the punch of hop bitterness is evident. Medium body and level of carbonation, sweet almost sticky mouthfeel. Decent IPA but a bit heavy on the malt for my liking. There’s a lot of harsh hop bitterness in here, maybe more later hop additions and a bit fewer bittering would work a little better.

not sure why this has been categorized as a blonde, its definitely a pale ale, light in color, light in flavor, good for a session ale, not enough body for anything really interesting.

can at Geddy’s in Bar Harbor - Pours hazy orange with a small white head. The aroma is of pine and citrus accented hops. It has a good, crisp, bitter flavor with notes of grapefruit and pine along with backing malt that balances out this medium bodied brew. Good IPA.
