Transmitter Brewing was formed to bring a unique perspective on traditional beer styles to the local NYC beer scene. Through the informed use and interactions of yeast and hops, we hope to add to the conversation about what is craft beer.

Cans from the source: pours clear light brown with off white head. Aroma is clear distinct toffee, caramel and some multigrain bread. Taste is somewhat sweet. Low bitterness. Pleasant body.

Draught at the source: pours orange with a white head. Aroma is earthy, slight fruitiness, notes of brett. Taste is earthy, lightly bitter. Not bad. but not really all that tart.

Draught at the source: pours orange with a white head. Aroma is earthy brett with slight fruitiness. Taste is earthy, tangy brett, light sweetness. Not bad.

Draught at the source: pours orange pinkish with a white head. Aroma is hibiscus, citrus, spice. Taste is hibiscus, a tad earthy, spicy, slightly fruity.

Draught at the source: pours orange red with small head. Aroma is vinegar and balaton cherries. Taste is really vinegary and very sour. Dry cherry taste minimal sweetness.

Draught at the source: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is grassy and bready. Taste is lightly sweet, some bitterness, a grass or two.

Draught at the source: pours pale clear gold with a small head. Piney and spicy aroma. Taste is lightly bitter, piney, saison yeast finish. Pretty good.

Five Boro Craft Beer Fest. Pours slightly hazy yellow. Little fruity, little minerally, little estery, very delicate. Medium body. Well balanced.

Pint can. Pours bright hazy orange. Apricot, huge apricot nose, dried mango, salt, tart citrus, nectarine. Good body. Real nice.

Keg at Akkurat, Stockholm. Cloudy golden, small head. Aroma of orange and marzipan. Mid dry with medium to full body and clean rounded mouthfeel. Grains, orange marmelade and some marzipan. Mid bitter finish.
