Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: glossy yellow color with a one finger of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet grassy hops, light hay, sweet earthy character; light sour notes, tart tropical fruity tones, sly melon tones
Flavor: meshes all the prior noted aromas together to a fine sour to tart to sweet quality; subtle crisp finish of the tart to sour tropical fruity and melon-like qualities
Texture: light to medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper; light smoothness but also some tartness stinging the tongue
Overall: for the most part, I believe this is a pretty good sour saison, it might be a touch tamer than other sour saisons but it's a worthy beer to partake in again.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: glossy golden yellow color with a one finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: floral hops, grassy hops, some lemony hops and then some earthy to herbal qualities
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together in a semi-sweet to floral/grassy to hay-like quality; mild finish of the floral to lemony tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper; subtle hop harshness but seemed to be fading as some of the herbal tones smooth things out a bit
Overall: pretty good saison I believe I could come back to.

Reviewed from notes.
Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: glossy orange/amber color with a light transparency closer to the sides and a one finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet and floral rye up front, subtle snappy wheat; some hay, light grains, some grassiness, subtle sweet earthy tones
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas together in a semi-floral to sweet and grassy to snappy tart quality; brisk finish of the sweet side of the rye and light citrusy qualities
Texture: light to medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper; light smoothness but also some grassy hop grind
Overall: I never saw the "spicy" side of the rye which I'm not entirely sure if I had an older bottle or if the brewer didn't necessarily try to brew that character in there. I think I'd try to find again in hopes of seeing what another bottle might be like or possibly find on draft somewhere.

A hazed golden saison with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, nice sweet fruity malt with light Brett, light lactic notes, light cereals, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with Brett, light coriander, Epsom salts, very nice.

Draft at The Jeffreys in NYC. Amber with a thin, frothy head. Underwhelming and rather empty aroma that’s mildly fruity and dank. Bitter but mild mannered. A touch tart. Lightish body … not working for me.

Draught @ The Pony Bar, Manhattan NYC. Clear pale golden with a creamy off-white head, sweet malt aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter malty taste with honey flavor, faint alcohol undertones, smooth body, long medium bitter finish. Nice, though a bit too sweet.
