Out of production or in production? The 16 oz can I purchased from Half Time gives a canned on date of 3/15/24 just to pass along. There is a snifter in place to catch the pour and I proceed. The body is a lightish caramel-brown completed by a mostly steady head of taupe foam. The nose presents a scent of bread, malt and subdued toffee. The taste is much better. Figs to start with, toast, the toffee again, malt and plums. A decently presented American dubbel. The style is not easy to find, no Double Barrel this time but it is all right.

Draught @ The Hoptimist, Manhattan (Jan 2024). Hazy dark yellow with a very small frothy off-white head that dissipates fast, funky aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter, slightly sour, and funky Brett taste, thin body, long finish with some throat burn at the end. Interesting beer.

10/26/19 On tap @ Glorietta Baldy. Wine glass. Opaque, watermelon, pink going on red, dulled cherry color. Smell is leafy, tannic, bright, close to candy-ish cherry. Not deep, but obviously sour & fruity. Taste is sour, half vinegar, bright, not dark. These are Michigan cherries which are tarter, sweeter & not like the dense & dark PNW cherries sold everywhere else. Anyway, it's a lot of tart cherry & not much else. A healthy amount though. The fact that this is beer might slip. Thin, coarse, soso carbonation. Lingering skin & tannins. Tis better then okay, but hard to do more then one.
