Appearance: semi-dark brown color with a finger and a half's worth of white foamy head, dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: nutty, caramel/toffee notes, butterscotch, earthy tones, subtle roasty to toasty character
Flavor: blends the prior aromas together somewhat sweet & tossty, mild aftertaste of nuts, caramel/toffee malts, and some sweet grains
Texture: light to medium bodied, some sessionability to it, fairly clean along tongue; finishes toasty, nutty and malty
Overall: I'd say a pretty nicely done brown ale worthy to find again.

Old rating from 28-11-16 - A 355ml bottle, 5.7 ABV. Brought from Whole Foods on my trip to NYC. Poured at home in Jersey, It's a cloudy pale yellow with off-white foamy head. Aromas of citrus, peach, pine & grapefruit. Tastes of citrus, peach, pine, grapefruit, mango & apricot. It has a sweet medium body with a crisp medium hopped bitter finish. Outstanding

There’s nothing wrong with a nice Vienna lager.

Draught @ the brewery (Jun 2024). Extremely hazy bright yellow with a foamy off-white head, citrus peel aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter citrus peel taste, unpleasant rotten fruit like flavor, thin body, long finish. Must be something wrong with the brewing process, it was not good at all.

16oz can from Half Time. Hazy golden pour, small foamy head, lacing. Light fruity aroma, citrus. Taste is juicy, nice citrusy flavors, but they fade pretty quickly to nothing. Initial juicy burst, dull finish.

Draught @ the taproom. Clear reddish dark brown with very small frothy beige head, caramel malt aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter caramel malt taste with floral hops, smooth thin body, long finish. Well done!
