Thanks Vance for the growler share.
Poured into a lager glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color; finger's worth of white foamy head which slid off delicately to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark earthiness, dark malts, dark bread and toast, light coffee grounds
Flavor: blends the prior mentioned aromas together fairly toasty with a mild roastiness; subtle aftertaste of coffee and dark bread
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; some smoothness but also some roasty character abrasion; finishes roasty, earthy and dark malty
Overall: decent enough dark lager I believe I could come back to.

Bottle to nonic glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color with a two finger eggshell white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: roasted dark malts, coffee tones, earthiness, slight nuttiness; subtle tart character (hmmmmm....odd but alright, moving on); touch of coconut down in there, sly dark chocolate
Flavor: semi-sweet to roasty chocolatey to coconutty sweetness, then the tart thing again, hmmmmm....then sly aftertaste of toast and dark malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper; finish is odd - seems somewhat coconutty with tart brashness
Overall: was the "tart" qualities intentional here? Hmmmm....I'm not exactly feeling good vibes with this one.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: beautiful bronzed orange color with a thin cap of a little white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light spotty lace
Aroma: bright citrusy hops, subtle sweet grassy notes; then the spicy form of the rye parts; some mild sweetness from them but then a lighter tone of some biscuity malts
Flavor: blends all the prior noted aromas together fairly bright and bittersweet; mild rye aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness along my tongue; finishes crisp and light spicy tones from the rye
Overall: pretty good Rye IPA but I was hoping the "floral" part of the rye in the aroma and flavor would have shown up. Well, I believe I would still come back to this.

Can to lager glass.
Appearance: semi-dirty/cloudy yellow color with an ever so slight transparency trying to occur; two finger white foamy head which slid off nicely leaving some spotty lace
Aroma: bready malts with some floral to grassy hops
Flavor: moderately blends the malts to the floral sweet tones of the hops; no aftertaste
Texture: light bodied, sessionable, semi-smooth yet oily to my tongue; finishes somewhat crisp and oily
Overall: must an Italian pilsener just as I suspected, not bad for what it is, and I believe I could have again.

Can into a nonic glass.
Appearance: dark brown color with a quickly dissipating eggshell white foamy head, subtle concave lace
Aroma: dark bread, nuts, caramel/toffee maltiness, dark toast, some grains
Flavor: moderately sweet and semi-roasty, mild aftertaste of the dark toast and nuts
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; almost watery but saves itself by some doughy to bready character dropping some blocking vibes; finishes nutty and semi-bready
Overall: I believe there's something good here or supposed to be here; however, I do believe some work needs to be done to make this one a better brown ale.
