Cask-conditioned at the Grosvenor, Hanwell 13/5/2015. Golden in colour, with a slight, white, head. Lemony citrus fruits, some leafy hops, crisp malts and a moderately bitter finish. Good.

750 ml bottle and cask at FdB 2014. Almost opaque, darkest brown colour with small, creamy, diminishing beige head. Chocolately, dark malty aroma, some roast, coffee notes. chocolate cookie. Taste is slightly sweet, chocolately dark malty, decently roasty, a hoppy lemon touch lends some airiness; a warming touch of alcohol in the finish. Soft, silk & smooth palate.

Cask at the Plume of Feathers, Greenwich. Gold pour with a white head. Vanilla, light malt and fruit aroma. Citrus, vanilla and lots of creamy malt flavours. Not bad.

Cask at the Lyric - London. Pours clear burnished gold with a creamy off-white head. The nose has grainy pale malts, orange, melon. Light sweet flavorbwith hitter grain husk, orange rind, slight leaves and grass, lightly toasted malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Finishes with some citric hops, rind, pale bread, grass, grain. Not bad.

Angel Spoons. Cask . Hazy amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, smooth and semi dry. Decent fine carbonation. Light sweetish pale malts. Mild sweet cream. Hops are mildly spicy and sweet pine. Trace of tropical fruits. Light semi dry finish. Very drinkable.

[ As Trumans Tail Feather ].Clear light to medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, pale malt, earthy malt, light hoppy, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, earthy malt, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt notes. Body is medium to light medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20140806]

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Dark copper with a thin creamy head. Has hints of spice and fruit, but it’s really in the background to what is mainly a palatable light bitter.

Cask at the Grafton - Camden. Pours clear gold with a creamy tan head. The aroma holds some dry and bready pale malts, ripening citrus, grains. Medium sweet flavor with some orange rind, pale bread, lightly toasted grains, leaves. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary finish, further bready pale malts, leafy and lightly grassy hops, some dough, ripe orange. Simple golden.
