Cask@London Drinker 2015 (Friday), Camden Centre, London - amber golden pour with white head. Aroma and taste is grassy and citrus lemony, some nice floral hoppy notes, easy drinking and decent enough.

Cask gravity at the 2015 London Drinker beer festival. Clear light amber / golden coloured pour with a lasting speckled off white head. Aroma is nice fresh floral hop, light citrus and semi sweet nutty grains. Flavour is English base grains, light caramel malts and firm citrus lemon hop. Palate is beautiful cask condition, melts in the mouth moderate carbonation. This a relatively simple beer that is very well some and uber drinkable. Lovely.

Sir John Oldcastle. Spoons. Cask. Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Papate is airy and semi soft but has decent fine carbonation. Sweetish pale malts in good balance with modest orange citric hops. Little light floralness, very slightly perfumey. Finishes airy and slightly crisp. Pretty drinkable.

Cask at the Shakespeare’s head holburn, jdw. Dark reddy brown coloured pour with a lasting thick creamy head. Aroma is woody, dark malts, some dried fruits, hint of booze,. Flavour is composed of burnt toast, vanilla, powdered choc, earthy bark. Palate is medium bodied,moderate carbonation, slightly creamy on the tongue. Little paint stripper / hot alcohol in the finish. Decent rustic Porter.
