Cask at The Anchor in Southwark. Pours hazy gold wih a white head. Aroma is loght floral/citrus. Med body or so. Flavor is light malt, light floral/citrus. Very pleasant. Who knew Truman’s had resurrected?

Cask at GBBF. this 4.4% hoppy pale ale is a clear coppery amber with a minimal head. The aroma is malty hoppy herbal goodness. It’s got a full creamy cask body while the taste is an ascerbic bitter hoppiness and a generic malt character. Alright.

Cask at Brew Wharf, Borough Market. Golden-amber with a thin white head. Light bread dough with some nice lemon. Smooth, pleasant, well-balanced and easy to drink. Feels like it’s been designed with the focus more on sessionability than flavour, but nevertheless it’s a competently brewed if unexciting golden ale.

From cask. Pours cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light fruity. Mild, light fruity, bitter and slight toasted. Medium dry and toasted finish.

Cask-conditioned at the Grosvenor, Hanwell. Deep amber with a slight, off-white, head. Easy drinking bitter, with some grassy hop, touch of hedgerow fruit, full, bready malts and a decent, bitter finish. Good.

Wenlock Arms. Cask. Hazy gold - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth with modest fine carbonation. Light malts, clean with whispers of honey and caramel. Mild marmalade and little floralness. Modest bitterness. Light dry finish. Nicely balanced and fairly drinkable.
