Can ordered from Noble Green Wines, Hampton. I added this as a Hazy DIPA based on the hazy orange beer in the photos... which were obviously of another beer because this is clear copper gold. Frothy if not overly impressive translucent white head. Low key fruity aroma. Medium sweet. Syrupy stone fruit with a touch of tempering sourness. Light bitter slightly resinous finish. Medium bodied. Oily. Flat-average carbonation. Dry slightly astringent finish. Hmm. Is this DIPA bland or economic? Pleasant but ultimately forgettable.

Cask @ Foxglove, Islington. Golden with a creamy-frothy head. Has a candy-sweet tropical fruitiness, which is less stated in its hoppier nose.

Can from Garsons Farm Shop, West End. Aroma is first grainy. Resinous edge. Clear gold. Foamy white head. Initial low key flavour wise... light bitter. Tangy. Slighty resinous. Then gains some additional bitterness. Spicey. Grainy. A tad quinine. Underlying malts and boiled mar the finish. Light bodied. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Dry astringent finish. A bland attempt. Really not doing anything for me.

Can from Garsons Farm Shop, West End. Spicy yeasty aroma. Light gold. Thin translucent white head. Light-medium bitter with an underlying sweet yeasty streak. Honey. A touch of lemon. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Dry finish. Easy drinking. Straightforward. But lightweight.

Can from Noble Green Wines, Hampton. Aroma is citrusy, with a grassy edge. A hint of coconut... hmmm? Hazy honey gold. Foamy thinning white head. Light-medium bitter. Citrus sour touch. Smooths out with coconut milk sweetness. Lingering onions. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Pithy. Fizzy carbonation. Finish is a tad dry, a tad astringent but overall relatively abrupt. A polite restrained use of Sabro but still a drinkable pale.

330ml can from More Than Beans, Rickmansworth, Herts. A golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, malty. citrus, tropical fruit aroma and taste. Decent, sweet, boozy old school DIPA from Big Smoke.

Can from Big Smoke Brew Co, Esher, Surrey. A black coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate aroma. Tastes similar, roasty, malty, chocolate, slight vanilla, quite smooth. Very nice effort indeed from Big Smoke.

Frothy white head left a creamy cover on an amber coloured still body. Malt aroma. Medium bodied, lively & dry on the back. Bitter, lightly smoked, hoppy, berry & hoppy tastes. Like this one.
