Half-pint, tap, shared with Finn at Big Smoke, Heathrow. Firm white head that laced fine, unclear grey-golden body. Moderate aromas of citrus fruits. Quite sappy citrus flavours, grapefruit and lemon. Mid-sweet fruity endnotes. Medium bodied. Refreshing and okay. (Airside, Heathrow 24.11.2021).

Half-pint, tap, shared with Finn at Big Smoke Taphouse, Heathrow. Hazy yellow gold body, slowly diminishing white head, fair lacing. Weak smell of ripe citrus and pale malts. Lemon and a little lime to the taste buds. Mid-dry citric end. Easy going thirst quencher. (Air side, Heathrow 24.11.2021).

Half-pint on tap at Euston Tap. Shared with Finn. Hazy golden body, filmy layer that laced quite well. Promising fruity aromas of peaches and citrus. Grapefruit up front to the taste profile, joined by peaches, and a decent vibe of resinous bitterness to the finish. Medium bodied. Nice. (London 22.11.2021).

[33cl can from Beer52.] An opaque amber pour with a tight white head; lemony aroma; strong citrus taste with grapefruit to start then lemon and then clementine; and a clean crisp finish. A pleasantly fruity APA.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Grapes & Hops. Pours clear pale yellow with a frothy, pure white head. Lightly sweet with clean, dry biscuity malts, a little bitter straw, bread crust, nips of grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Fairly dry in the finish, which is nice, with more biscuity malts, light bitter grass and straw. Nice overall.

Keg at Brewdog in Reading. One-third pint shared with Finn. Almost black in the glass, lacing rings down the glass. Moderate smell of cinnamon of slightly roasted malts. Spiced mid-sweet malty flavours, cinnamon up front, a note of cocoa. Spiced malty end as well, mid-sweet. Pretty alright in smaller amounts like this little glass. (19.11.2021).

Keg at Brewdog Paddington, London. A dark brown coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Roasty, malty, coffee, meaty taste/aroma. Hint of chocolate. Found this hard going.

Can bought from the brewery stall at Weybridge Farmers Market. Aroma has pineapple, citrus and malts. Opaque amber gold. Thick foamy white head. Light-medium bitter. Tart if watery citrus. Quinine. Cardboard and veg malts then make themselves known. Light. Thin. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Typical boring IPA that can't hide it's boring core.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft. Pours lightly hazed yellow-gold with a fluffy, white head. Lightly sweet with subtle tangy lemon, lean pale malts, nips of pine needles, grapefruit pith. Light bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Clean finish, further citric fruits, pith and rind. So so.
