Bottle shared on the train to the Cotteridge Convention 2015. Cheers Cloin for this wale. Pours hazy gold with a big, creamy/frothy off-white head. The nose holds some toasted malts, grain and faint caramel. Light sweet flavor, a little astringent and woody, with leaves, dried grains and light cereal. Light bodied with average carbonation. Astringent and grainy finish, somewhat tannic. Ho hum.

Bottle shared on the train Euston -> Birmingham, Cotteridge convention, 24/01/2015. Many thanks to Colin. Aroma is strange mineral, oyster, grainy, little fishy. Hazed golden coloured pour with a thin greyish head. Flavour is composed of toasty, grainy malts, little roast, light berry hop. Palate is grainy on the tongue, spritzy carbonation, . Dirty earthy bitterness lingers.
