Cask@Bishops Stortford Beer Festival 2010. Deep ambery brown colour, quite close to black. Aroma is floral hops, some earth, black berries, mild fruityness as well as some slight coffeeish notes. Flavour is quite fruity, berryish and also has some liquorice and mild toasted notes.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2010. Gold colour. Hoppy aroma, some sweetness in the mouth. Oddly tastes of puke slightly like lager malt puke.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 28/10/09. Pale amber with a slight white head. Aroma of summer fruits, sweet cereals and a vaguely sour edge. Flavour was a mix of fruit, biscuit malts, caramel and earthiness with a moderately bitter finish. An ok effort from a new brewery, but could do with a touch of refinement.
