Cask gravity @ The Rake, Borough SE!. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity roasted malty weak coffee aroma. Fry roasted malty fruity flavor with hints of chocoalte. Has a dry roasted malty finish.

Bottled. Dark mahogany colour, huge rocky head. Coffee aroma with some dark berries behind. Light bodied with rounded spritzy mouthfeel. Lightly roasty malt, blackberries acts as a sidekick. Spicy bitterish finish.

Cask@The Rake, London. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some fruity and nutty notes along with some grassy notes. Flavour is fruits, some floral and grassy notes along with mild nutty and wooden notes. Pleasant and refreshing bitter.

Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, malty, earth, and something strange ! Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet, light light acidic and light moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity, hoppy, apple sharp ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. Cask at Bishops Stortford Beer Festival 2010. A hazy dark amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, honey, and sulphur, leading to a dry and lightly bitter finish. I find it boring.

Cask at Bishops Stortford Beer Festival 2010. A hazy dark brown beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of sweet and roasted malt as well as notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of nuts and roasted malt as well as lighter notes of wood, leading to a dry roasted finish.
