Description
Ben, Sam & Graham started Pressure Drop in 2013, making 50L batches in Graham's garden shed. After upgrading to a 5BBL kit and spending a few years in a railway arch in Hackney (yep, we are the stereotype), we've found our home in Tottenham.

We now employ a small team of great people and have a bigger, nicer and shinier 20BBL brew kit. We're making the best beer that we can, in styles that we want to enjoy, and hope that you will too.

On tap at the Southampton Arms, London on 23rd May 2025. Opaque, orange side of yellow, with a thin white foam affording full lacing. Fruity citrus and tropical aroma. Zesty peel in-mouth, and a finish of spicy citrus peel and juices. Some nuttiness from the malts. Medium bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Airy pale malts, a slight thinness to the malt body. Hops bring a pleasant sweet shop vibe with Luminosa lemonade and HBC630 candy fruits. A very mild bubble and blueberry, not sure Ai would have noticed if the published hop bill didn't specify Mosaic. A slight tang to this brew. Finishes airy and leaves a modest hop spice nibble. Entertaining.

Keg at the Bear, Paddington, 09/05/2025.
Hazed orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is grass, orange zest, pineapple, melon.
Taste comprises grapefruit, pine nip, faint minerality, grass, papaya.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close punctured with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness ... has some Sabro like qualities at the curtain call.
Not bad if not what I'd class as West Coast particularly.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A mild haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, smooth, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation on the back end. Light smooth pale malts, fairly sweet. Slightly tangy hop profile, bright crisp pine and juicy orangey citrus, mild marmalade. Mild candy fruits on the back end. Light and semi dry finish shows mellow hop spice. Has a charm this dipa whilst never being a front runner.

Can from Cotteridge Wines; murky golden yellow pour (not very west coast), thin white head, aroma has tangerine and light pine, taste has apricot, some yeast, pine, tangerine, if it looks like an east coast and barks like an east coast it’s probably a dog
