Description
Ben, Sam & Graham started Pressure Drop in 2013, making 50L batches in Graham's garden shed. After upgrading to a 5BBL kit and spending a few years in a railway arch in Hackney (yep, we are the stereotype), we've found our home in Tottenham.

We now employ a small team of great people and have a bigger, nicer and shinier 20BBL brew kit. We're making the best beer that we can, in styles that we want to enjoy, and hope that you will too.

Bottle shared with Jack at The Kernel - sourced from Sourced St. Pancras. Pours cloudy gold with a creamy white head. Nose of minerals, grapefruit, lime and melon. Light to medium sweet flavor with light grass, pine needles, melon, pineapple and grapefruit. Light in body with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish with tangy tangerine, grapefruit light salt and lemon. Decent enough pale ale, though I wonder if there’s some bottle variation with this beer/ brewery as Jack and I didn’t think this beer was as good as previous ratings would suggest (and the previous raters know their stuff).

The taste is orange, tangerine, ripe mango, pineapple, soda water and crisp bitterness with clean, dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Smooth, fresh, fruity and massively drinkable. Good work Pressure Drop!

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli - sourced from the almighty Krishna. Pours lightly hazy gold with a pronounced, creamy white head. Lots of sweet, bready wheat in the nose. Medium sweet flavor with loads of wheat, cereal, dough, hints of orange merengue. Light bodied with average, creamy carbonation. More dough, wheat and cereal to finish, mashed bananas, faint hay, lemon. Very tasty beer in general but could be refined a bit.

Hazy amber beer, little white head. Palate start smooth and turns minerally crisp. Unusual Wit - there is a little citrus and a trace of bubblegum ester but dominant flavour is a cooling mellow mint and spearmint! Finishes semi dry. No idea if this what was intended but I actually really liked it!

Bottle from Sourced Market, St Pancras. It pours very dark brown with a thick beige head. The nose is fresh pine, earth, light brown sugar and chocolate covered coffee beans. The taste is pine, light toast, caramel, burnt brown sugar, cocoa, earth, varnish and good level of bitterness with a lingering dry-bitter finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and velvety mouth-feel. Really well-balanced and very drinkable. Very well done.
