Description
Established in 2010, Revolutions is a music-inspired micro brewery producing a range of cask ales of all styles from pale ales through to stouts and porters. Home to the multi award-winning Swoon Chocolate Fudge Milk Stout. The brewery also holds beer from other breweries from Yorkshire and further afield and currently sources beer for many beer festivals across the UK.

Brewing ceased in March 2023.

Cask at Craft Beer Co St. Gilles - London. Pours clear yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. Pale grains in the nose, lemon rind, biscuits. Light sweet flavour with assertive grassy bitterness, more pale grains, ripening lemon, some minerality. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry finish, bitter with more grass, pale grain husk, straw, citrus peel. Not bad.

Cask at CBC Covent Garden - London. Pours clear copper-gold with a foamy, white head. The nose holds lightly toasted bread, grains. Light sweet flavour with more simple, toasty bread, dried berries, hints of leaves and pine. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Easygoing finish, more lightly toasted brown bread, some dried citrus, leaves, mellow pine. Fine stuff.

Cask at Craft Beer Co. St. Gilles - London. Pours clear yellow-gold with a frothy, white head. Pretty clean golden ale, with crisp pale bread, mild bitter hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Smooth on the finish, with mild bitterness, pale biscuits, a little grain, basic pale bread. Fine stuff.

Cask at CBC CG - London. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. The nose has simple pale bread, vague citrus accents. Light sweet flavour with easygoing pale bread, hay, some lightly ripened citrus fruits. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Simple finish, more pale bread, mild hitterness, some biscuit, pae sugars, mild citrusy accents. Nice golde.

[ As Revolutions The Queen Is Not Dead ].Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate - dark chocolate. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, dark chocolate, dark berries, roasted - malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [ As Revolutions New Gold Dream ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, lemon, citrus, fruity, pale malt. Wakefield Beer Festival 2016. Dark amber in colour. Has a tasty grainy-malty character.

Wakefield Beer Festival 2016. Hazed amber ale with a clear strength, although its chewy bubble-gum sweetness hides this to an extent.

Cask at Nag’s Head, Reading.14/01/17. Sour yeasty aroma. Opaque amber. Thin white head. Medium bitter, with an umami yeasty wave. Thick bodied. Soft but clingy mouthfeel. OK. Bland. Doesn’t come across like a 7% beer.
