Description
A neighborhood institution and a Portland favorite for over 20 years. Find our beers distributed throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Alameda Brewhouse is a brewpub in the heart of the Beaumont Village in Northeast Portland. We have been in business for nine years, offering hand crafted ales and freshly prepared food. All of our beers are produced on location in our 5.5 BBL brewhouse under the watch of headbrewer Carston Haney. He produces a wide variety of beers, from the light, refreshing Siskiyou Golden Ale to the deep, impenetrable Black Bear Double Stout, which won the Gold Medal at the 2003 GABF and the Silver Medal in 2006 and 2008 in the foreign-style stout category. In addition, there is always at least one seasonal beer on tap to fit the mood of the season and one selection served on nitrogen.

Admin Note: Production Facility for distributed beers was located at: 4736 SE 24th Ave Portland, OR 97202

Clear blond to orange beer, big creamy off-white head, stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: soapy, fruity, sweetish, yeast. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very soapy kind of bitterness, dry and unpleasant. Aftertaste: more soapy, bit spicy, weird and oxidized.

Tap @ Både &, Kristiansand. Quite clear, dark brown body with a moderate sized beige head. Aroma has malt, dry fruit, caramel, toast, nuts and a bit woody. Flavor is pretty similar to aroma, malt, caramel, toast, dry fruit, wood with a fruity, slightly funky edge. Medium sweet to sweet, moderate bitterness. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Interesting.

Draft at Eureka. Deep golden with small creamy head. Sweet caramelly aroma, some of the tequila barrels. Taste Amos up the tequila, which plays well with the caramel malts. Nice pairing of the barrels and the brew.

650ml bottle, 7.0 % abv, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Almost black in body appearance with a deep ruby shade. Covering fawn-coloured head leaving spotty lacing behind. Promising dark bread, ash, and liquorice to the nose. Dark malty flavours with impact of chocolate, wood, and liquorice. Finish off with a smooth roasted bitter touch. Well bodied. Good drinking. (Shared with Snegurochka, TheCellarer and Finn, session in Tårnrommet, Tromsø 14.11.2017).
