Description
BridgePort produces a variety of international style ales, including IPA. BridgePort’s ales are naturally conditioned in the bottle, keg, or cask from which they are served - they’re never force carbonated. The natural conditioning creates ale that is smooth, naturally carbonated, and full of flavor.
Today, BridgePort Brewing Company is one of the top specialty brewers in the state of Oregon. As BridgePort Brewing grew in popularity, it also grew in its brewing capacity from its 600-barrel beginnings to over 100,000 barrels per year. Sampled at GABF. Pours a watery brown with some creamy beige head. Fruity nose, pears, herbs, flowers. Sweet, malty flavor, chestnut honey, orange. Thin finish. Way too thin.

Bottle. Orangish amber, an inch of white head. Aroma of orange blossoms, pine and caramel. Full-bodied. Sweetish with oranges, caramel, a little peach; fairly big bitterness comes in straight away. Balance OK, clean; utterly without character: shruggo.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear copper with a slight foamy off-white head. Aroma is something from my childhood. Can’t come up with a name for it. Med body. Flavor is a sharp spice which drains away to reveal something like pie spice. Finishes fairly dry, and there is that strong spice. Actually I think I prefer this new approach to the standard pie spice. It’s a pretty tasty brew.

Bottle. Full grassy aroma with a pepper and citrus note. Tang in the flavour, some pepper and a peppery finish. Some grease in the mouthfeel. Not a bad lager, but doesn’t taste much like a pilsner

On Tap at Brewforia Beer market, Meridian, ID. Clear medium mahogany, with a quick, sandy colord head. Big sweet aroma, sweet and spicy, cinnamon. Flavor is sweet, and of cinnamon red-hots. Very light bodied and just plain weak and watery. closer to kool-ade than beer. Meh

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a lightly cloudy dark orange with about a finger of white head. Aroma of dank, citrus and herbal hops. Taste is medium bitter and light sweet. Citrus and pine. Quite earthy. Medium bodied with a thin yet somewhat sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, pretty darn good. I would gladly drink this again.
