Dark red/black pour with off white head and much lacing. Roasty and hoppy aroma. Medium roasty body with lots of bitterness, this is almost a black IPA. Some sweetness. This is now also available in bottles

Bomber (minus foil) from Whole Foods in Sacramento. Pours hazy gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is floral, citrus and light stone fruit. Near med body. Flavor is a bit earthy, but mostly floral, citrus and light stone fruit. It’s bitter. There’s enough flavor to overcome the garlic bean bacon spread I just had. It’s a very down to "earth" beer.

Dann wieder ausgewogener, leichter Hopfen, trocken. Erdiger und süß-malziger Ausklang. 9/11/11/12/7/11

Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy orange copper with a small off white head with spotty lacing. The aroma is floral hops and bubblegum. Medium mouthfeel with a dry hop with grapefruit and grass with a light bitter finish. A good IPA from Bridgeport.

Bomber. Bought at Fred Meyer in CDA, ID. Pours hazy cantaloupe with a large rocky lacy off-white head with great retention. Aroma is clean; it’s faintly piney, citrusy, floral and bready. I was hoping for something really resinous and in your face. Taste is bittersweet. Not your typical IPA. There’s something here in the mix that sets this apart from most IPAs. I like it. It tastes fresh. I wish the brewery would put a brewed on date on the bottle so I knew just how fresh it is. Palate is sticky, carbonation is average. Really good, I just wish the aroma was more pungently hoppy.

On tap at Local Option in Chicago, October 22, 2011. Hazy orange/amber with a minimal white head. Fresh and fruity, crisp mouth feel and easy to drink. I liked it!

Bright golden-amber. The aroma is earthy with light simcoey citrus notes. Earthy, but lacking brightness, this is a mix of stale hops and caramelly malts. Once upon a time, I liked this brewery, but these days...I don’t know.

2011. Hazy tan. The aroma is earthy, minty hop. Similar character on the palate. Not at all bright. Malts are indistinct, relatively boring. Not bright? How’d they do that?
