Description
BridgePort produces a variety of international style ales, including IPA. BridgePort’s ales are naturally conditioned in the bottle, keg, or cask from which they are served - they’re never force carbonated. The natural conditioning creates ale that is smooth, naturally carbonated, and full of flavor.

Today, BridgePort Brewing Company is one of the top specialty brewers in the state of Oregon. As BridgePort Brewing grew in popularity, it also grew in its brewing capacity from its 600-barrel beginnings to over 100,000 barrels per year. Distribution has grown from Portland to 18 states, and the brewery’s emphasis on producing quality, innovative ales has provided it with an international following and numerous awards.

Bomber from The Davis Beer Store, Davis, CA. Pours hazy orange amber with a very transient off-white head. Aroma seems to be just strawberry. Med body. A bit fizzy carb. Flavor is very strawberry, and there are different aspects - cooked, fresh, seed. Interesting, fairly well done, but I think I prefer cherry. Finishes towards dry and a little astringent.

Not 100 % sure about the name, this is what I heard from the waitress and it was a new seasonal. Dark opaque brown color, small beige head. Caramelly, ashy, toasted candy aroma with hints of mint and coffee. Light to medium-bodied. Tobacco and cold coffee in the flavor. Dry coffeish-ashy finish and aftertaste.

Dark chestnut color, steady brownish head. Malty, sweet fruity, chocolate cake aroma. Medium-bodied. Quite alcoholic. Malty, dark fruits, rye bread, alcohol and late strong hoppyness. Quite hoppy barley wine with better drinkability than ABV indicates.

Clear deep copper color, steady creamy beige head. Light fruity-berryish aroma. Suprisingly light body for this ABV and OG. Fullers-like nutty, snappy flavors. Caramel and some alcohol. Quite English, like UK style strong ale.
