Bouteille 75cl, BB 03/09/2022, partagée avec Serge et Hiroki, visite à Gualta avant mariage.
Couleur blonde pâle trouble, col épais crémeux blanc-cassé.
Arôme est sur un nez grains concassés - malt pils qui perce pas mal, le tout est sublimé par un houblonné fleuri et finement terreux, pointe herbacée en retrait - noble, mais ce dernier, tout comme le palais, est en retrait par rapport à un malté dominant.
Palais est classique belge avec ici une pils qui montre du corps, c'est épais en bouche avec une légère présence de levure sans être trop sur les esters, pils avec une rondeur de grains concassés en fin de bouche.
Houblonné noble ajoutant un léger terreux et fruité voire herbacé avec une once de fleuri. Semble assez robuste pour une simple pils - de plus l'embouteillage semble être de mars 2021 et montre en avril 2022 qcq limites avec déjà une sensation de vieux grains et un houblonné qui bat un peu de l'aile.

Golden, cloudy with a medium white head. A fruity and yeast aroma some spices sense. Quite bitter with a fresh fruit and yeast end.

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours light amber, fairly transparent, with fine white foam. Aroma is yeasty, fruity, malty and caramel. Body is partially dense, with moderate carbonation. Taste is medium-high sweet, with good bitterness too. Final is fairly long with medium bitterness.

I possess this 33 cl bottle of Grande 10 after a purchase early this year from Belgian Happiness. Best by May 23, 2027 it says on the label. I break out the New Belgium globe glass for the tastings this evening and make the pour. It is on the dark end of yellow in color, semi-hazy and topped with a creamy head of almost pure white foam that has lacing potential. It pushes the right buttons with the nose, I determine nectarine, candy and a definite yeasty presence. The taste is just as good. Apricots, white bread, a hint of peaches, something fieldy, honey and yeast. I get a bit of bitterness at the end. Better than anticipated.

Bottle from Willems en Zoon Grobbendonk. Color: Lightly hazy golden, frothy white head. Aroma: Hoppy, herbal. Like a hoppy Saison. Taste: Hoppy, notes of lemon, herbal and spicy notes, Saison yeast. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Long lasting bittery and spicy finish. A lot of taste for such relatively low alcohol beer. Great Belgian IPA.

Pours a clean light amber (hazy on second pour), with a couple of fingers of large-bubbled white head. Retention is not very good, but it still leaves some nice lacing. Aroma has a light cerealish, slightly biscuity malt base, sugary softness, a quite vivid peachy and citric fruitiness. Slight hint of spiciness too. Quite strong aroma, especially for the low abv, and also well defined. Taste notes follow the aroma closely, plus a hint of earthiness in the finish. I think it feels a bit less bright/vivid than the aroma suggested. Medium sweet and quite low bitterness. Quite sweet in the mouth, but nicely balanced in a semi-dry finish/aftertaste. Light bodied, with medium to high carbonation; a typical per style easy and lively mouthfeel. A nice, highly drinkable and well made beer, which would probably fit best as a summer drink.
