Bottle @ company summer party. Unclear deep golden to brown’is amber. Aroma of malt, toffee, candy sugar and hint of spicy Belgium yeast. Taste is sweet malt, caramel, candy sugar, Belgium yeast and moderate bitterness. Balanced body with same aftertaste. Not super complex, but sure a decent strong ale.

750 ml green bottle, Cardinal’s Christmas beer tasting. ABV is 7.3%. Brown colour, large beige head. Lovely malty aroma, with typical notes of Belgian ale yeast, brown kandij sugar, caramel, dark dried fruits and mild spices. The flavour is rich and malty, with the same elements as the aroma, and moderate hops in the finish. Very good.

Il gusto al naso viene attratto dal fruttato La finezza olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine, con carbonazione abbondante. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è nella media e c'è anche una componente leggermente acidula. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, crosta di panettone, frutta secca, agrumi, arancia rossa, frutta passita e rabarbaro.
