(bottle, 75cl) Hazy, dark brown colour with a big and beige foamy head. Yeasty and distinctively blue-berry fruity aroma with notes of toasted malt and herbal hops in the background. Roasty bitter flavour with shades of vinous fruitiness, medium to full bodied with a calm, almost creamy carbonation. Moderately roasted malty and slightly fruity taste with notes of liquorice and traces of caramel; almost dry, roasty and moderately hop bitter finish. Good. 03.II.10

(bottle, 75cl) Hazy, deep golden colour with a short frothy tanned head. Sweet and slightly cara-malty aroma with distinctively fruity and zesty hoppy notes of lemon, pineapples and some herbal accents. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Moderately fruit-accented taste with a tinge of cara-malt and belgian yeast-character; pretty dry and bitter hoppy finish. Quaffable and a bit Saison-like brew. 03.II.10

On tap at Akkurat, Februari 12 2010. Dark brown with a small beige head. Malty aroma with caramel, spices and dark berries. Quite sweet and spicy taste with something that I could not quite put my finger on. Some kind of chewing gum? Carbonation was low and the aftertaste long. Drinkable but nothing spectacular.
