Description

Wife picked me up a bottle at Whole Foods. Pours and a hazy orange with bunches of chunks floating in it. Smells of fruit salad. very refreshing with lots of flavor of fruits and raisins and yeast maybe. I have quite the cold and haven’t recovered from vegas trip yet so I may have to rejudge later in life again but as of now I like it.

Thanks Hanniku for sharing!
Deep dark brown, ruby color, huge brown head. Christmas spices and licorice in the nose. Herbal licorice, grassy flavor, some dark malts with alcoholic backbone. Very complex and nicely bitter.

75cl Bottle, Carringtons, Chorlton. Poured a slightly hazy yellow colour with a good sized lingering white head. Aroma was musty yeast, with some fragrant hop, citrus and malt. Slid down super smoothly. Flavour was lightly sweet and had a really nice fresh zest to it . Really well balanced with plenty happening to tease the taste buds. Malt and hops well proportioned with a nice gentle spiciness. Some bitterness in the finish. Enjoyable stuff.

Bottle that I picked up from Dranken Geers, Oostakker, Nr Gent, Belgium 31-10-09 consumed 03-12-09 Pours dark murky brown with an off white head. There is a little damp spiciness on the nose and a little yeast. This is fine but I feel that it lacks the oomph that I was hoping for, its malty bit sweet, doesn’t really do much for me.
