Description

Yellow gold. Light head. Touch of banana in the nose. Dry and yeasty finish. Interesting, not as enjoyable as their tripel.

10/01 0.75 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, great thanks for sharing! It poured murky brown body with bigger brownish head that left nice lacing later while drinking. Nice yeasty, spicy, caramel and chocolate aroma. Citrus hops, specially orange is also noted here and pronounced in flavor. Coffee is dominating otherwise, over hints of chocolate and sweet sugar. Nice but desperately thin bodied for the style. Finish is citrus hop and coffee bitterish which become lightly caramel sweet at the very end. Good beer which would be great with more body!

Bottled(750ml). -Brown coloured, medium sized beige head, aromatic orangey light herbal nose. Sweet malty, hoppy herbal and light fruity with notes of coffee. Quite dry finish. Very good beer but more or less very similar to other La Rulles I’ve already tried.

Dark brown color, creamy head, persistent. Good caramel aroma and flavor, the aroma is also lightly perfumy, the flavor is sweetish; the body is correct in the beginning, weaker at the end; the bitterness essentially derives from the caramel. Solid.

Hazy brown color. Basically, a caramel beer, with some roasted malt at the end and a perfumy aroma (better than the rest). Not exciting.

0.75 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado (thanks!) who shared it with me and heavy. Poured a murky red-brown body tinged with amber near the bottom with a big persistent beige head. The aroma is nice, piney and orangey hop with some honeyish maltiness work, lovely and a bit complex. The taste starts again with the fruity hopiness and ends with coffee, a bit light but tasty. Some lemon too. The maltiness isn’t all that pronounced. Tasty enough.
