Bottled(750ml). -Reddish/brown coloured, medium sized cappuccino head, malty nose with touch of herbs. Light roasted malt, yeasty and mild spicy with notes of chocolate and dried fruits. Slightly watery palate. Nothing more nothing less than ok.

Bottled(750ml). -Pours a pale amber color with medium sized white head and flowery nose. Lively carbonation. Malty, yeasty and fruity with notes of hops and spices (mostly coriander). Dry fruity finish.

Bottle, 6%. Almost clear orange colour, many small floaties. Very small white head. Subtle malt base with some mild spices. The soapiness of the woodruff is quite distinct.

Bottled 750ml. -Hazy pale orange coloured, medium sized white head, honey nose. Flowery and grassy hop taste with some lemony and caramel notes. Also soft spicy. Quite dry. Interesting atypical Belgian beer.

0.75 l bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado - huge thanks! Poured a nice hazy orange-golden body with a medium-big creamy white head that went away at a medium pace. Flowery (pollen), honeyish nose, just a touch of some aromatic hop. The floweriness is expressed again in the taste, pollen again. Dry, with some hop bitterness. Light light lemony notes and acidity. Different from most other Belgian beers I have had. Not sure what I would put it under at a blind tasting, but definitely a nice beer.

Kerstbier Festival, Essen, Belgium. Cloudy dark brown colour. Aroma is very fragrant, a little flowery. Some malt also present. Silky, oily texture. Delicate spices present in the flavour and aftertaste.

75 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours clear and golden orange with a white head. Mild fruity and yeasty aroma, nice caramel malty too. Sweet fruity and light phenolic flavoured. Light berry fruity to herbal, the sweet woodruff I assume. Mild spiced and caramelish sweet finish. Quite pleasant and smooth.

75cl bottle @ VinensVerden, Odense, Pours hazy dark brown with a thick creamy lasting white head & lacings. Nose is sweet & yeasty with notes from caramel, bread & dark fruits. Smooth & filling mouthfeel. A fine Belgium dubbel/bruin!

75cl bottle @ VinensVerden, Odense. Pours hazy yellow with a lasting large white head & lacings. Nose is hoppy, grassy & yeasty. Medium bodied. Taste is dry with hints of fruit (orange), yeast & herbs/spices such as coriander. Ends dry & hoppy. Quite nice & crisp!
