Bottle: Poures a murky yellow with a white head. The aroma is strong hops with sweet fruit. The taste is highly carbonated with loads of nice hops and yet still a touch if fruit.

Bottle 75cl @ Zythos Bier Festival 2008, Sint Niklaas, Belgium. Unclear orange color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, moderate to light heavy yesty, barnyard. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (010308)

(3/2/08) Bottle sample at Zythos Bier Festival 2008 in Sint Niklaas. Slightly hazy golden color with a white head. Aroma of fruits, some hops and a bit of malt and yeast. Sweetish fruity flavor with a rather dry finish. Medium-bodied. Quite pleasant.

750ml Bottle-Copper coloured with red tinges when held to the light. Fruity and malty aroma with a slight metallic element. Bitter taste with raisins, spice and a surprisingly dry finish. After every sip it starts quite bitter but this bitterness quickly fades. I remember it being better two or three years ago.

Bottle at ZBF 08. Gold, thin buttery beige head. Bit of a triple aroma. Pear drop fruit and Belgian yeast. It’s ok, competent, but not too exciting.

ZBF2008: From bottle. Pours hazy brown with a lacing tan head. Light spiced and roasted malt aroma. Flavour is mildly spiced with ginger, light acidic and mild roasted malt. Ends with a lingering spice note and mild acidity.

On tap at ZBF 08. I was really lucky with my first few beers on day 2, beers that I really liked. Hazy gold, lasting beige head Really rather good. Hop sting on end, soft in mouth, creamy. Well balanced, drinkable, mid blond beer.
