Draft at Nachbar. Frothy white head that slowly diminishes. The body is pale gold and hazy. Nice aroma of floral hops, grapefruit with notes of toasted malt and grain. Hint of dusty cobweb and laquer. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finished lightly sweet, moderately bitter and lightly acidic. Very dry. Medium body with a clean, fizzy texture from the carbonation. The more of this I drank, the more I liked it — perhaps because the strong hop presence was a surprise for a Belgian pale ale. Refreshing, nicely bittered, clean mouthfeel. Very good especially on a hot summer evening.
