Bottle. Aroma of caramel malt and moderate hop. Coppery color with a decent off-white head. Medium bodied with creamy carbonation. Flavor is floral/fruity hop over lightly roasted caramel. Finish is slightly sweet (or almost dry), with almost enough hop to balance. Pretty good amber.

Bottle. Aromas of chocolate and roasted dark malt. Very dark brown color with a decent beige head. Near medium body with smooth, creamy carbonation. Dark roasted malt, a touch of coffee, a hint of sour. Dry, smooth, and just bitter enough. Leaves a bit of tingle behind.

Bottle. Aroma of dark toasted malt, could be some coffee, chocolate and oak. It’s a strong aroma. Near opaque brown/black color with a decent tan head. Near full bodied with creamy carbonation. It has an oak bite to go with dark toasted malt, and a touch of coffee. Finishes dry, slightly astringent and a little woody and bitter. Leaves the mouth a bit stunned. It’s pretty good.

Pours clear orange color with big off white head. Aroma of sweet grapefriut. Flavor starts sweet and and finishes with mildly bitter hops. Decent IIPA. Medium body with moderate carbonation an a creamy mouthfeel. For the price I would definately buy this again.

Bomber. Aromas of grapefruit citrus and likely a bit of pine. Amber color with a nice white head. Medium to full body with smooth carbonation. Kind of sweet, a touch woody or funky, and some interesting mix of fruit and hop flavors. Finish is pretty dry, and the hop pickles the top of the mouth. A pretty good, perhaps great, DIPA. Drinks well.

Bouteille 650ml, courtoisie de Blankboy. De couleur orange ambrée et claire. Nez de houblon moyennement floral, légèrement citrique (pamplemousse) ainsi qu’avec des notes herbeuses et résineuses, moyen de fruits (abricots) et malté de caramel sucré. Moyenne-mince en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture moyennement crémeuse et aux petites notes résineuses. Moyen goût fruité (abricots, traces d’agrumes et de mangues) accompagné d’un goût moyennement amer de houblon floral et légèrement citrique (une amertume présente toute la gorgée) ainsi que de notes épicées (poivre) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute un goût malté de caramel légèrement sucré aux petites notes terreuses et rôties ainsi que des notes de biscuits, de pain et de céréales puis en finale l’on retrouve un léger regain d’amertume de houblon plus herbeux (herbe mouillée et notes de thé) et aux faibles notes résineuses ainsi que des traces de légumes bouillis et de noix. Post-goût moyen aux notes sèches, moyennement amer de houblon floral, moyennement herbeux, légèrement citrique et aux notes résineuses ainsi que de faibles notes fruitées (zest d’agrumes).

Bottle. Poured deep amber with a thin white head. Lekker hoppy aroma with a floral not. Medium malt body with more hoppiness. Moderate bitter ifinish. This might be another Cape Ale, Midway between a Pale and an IPA

12 oz. Bottle, at the new Two Brothers brew pub. This is the sign of a true RateBeer geek. I go into a brand new brewpub for a respected craft brewer and order a bottle from the cooler because I’ve already rated all their tap offerings. But this is pretty good. Body is just slightly hazy in a bright copper brown with a bubbly IPA head. Our favorite "C" type hop smell is there, still nice and fresh. Hops are right up front in the taste: citrus and grass with pine boughs behind it. Malts are kind of creamy. Impression of bitter coffee grounds toward the middle. But the big hop nose stays all the way through. Unusual to find such hoppiness in a 12 oz bottle of "normal strength" beer.

Pours clear amber with a big white head. Strong pine aroma. Flavor stars sweet and malty and finishes dry with a strong hoppy taste. Pretty good IPA. Light to medium body with a sticky, oily mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Would probably have again.
