It pours a pitch black and gives the same color body in my nonic. The tan lumpy two centimeter head appears, rises just a bit and settles down and leaves a light bit of foamy lacing. The smell has sweet roasty notes of chocolate with some light coffee in the background. The taste has the same sweet and roasty smell with the malts combined very nicely. The palate is mostly light with some sharp prickles on my tongue. Overall, mostly good, decently drinkable, perhaps revisiting would be worth it depending upon what else was served.

(Bottle) Clear amber, no head. Little aroma, but pleasantly fruity and floral, but too faint to describe accurately. Medium light body and rather fizzy. Pleasant malty initial taste gives way to pleasant bitterness which stays around quite a while. However , whist this basic backbone of the beer is fine, there is nothing else, no complexity or interest. Rather unexceptional beer, but definitely drinkable.

Bottle. Vegetal malt and nutmeg/cinnamon/clove aroma. Vegetal caramel malt and spice flavor. Medium body and carbonation. I’m finding I’m not a fan of these highly spiced winter beers.

The appearance is a murky brown/amber with a carbonated tan head that only lasts a couple seconds. The smell has some barley and grainy sweetness, some alcohol and no hops. There is a bit of earthiness in the smell as well. The taste has a malty backbone with some caramel. The palate is thin, moderately carbonated with a slightly dry finish. Overall, a decent beer I would have again, preferably on tap. However, this isn’t something I would buy all of the time.

It pours a golden-amber color with a thin head that dissipates instantly. The head doesn’t last longer than several seconds. There isn’t much lacing. The smell is fruity leaning closer to a lemon smell, floral with some light notes of pine as well. The taste has the lemon/fruitiness to it and has the normal bitter IPA feel to it. The palate is light to medium with a high carbonation. I’d say this is extremely drinkable. Overall, not a bad IPA, not the greatest, but decent.

This pils poured a slightly cloudy, very light yellow colour with a quickly living, bright white head. Scents include honey, malt and bread. First sip was lightly carbonated, slightly thin with flavours of honey, light corn and cereal. Finish is grainy with light hop/bitterness lingering on the palate.

Pours dark amber with a fading head.Nose shows caramel and soft spicy and floral hops. Faint but nice.Sweet clean malt is the main flavour. Also some resinous hops.Needs more carbonation.Pretty basic and gentle but not bad.

This stout poured a deep black colour with a big, tan coloured, foamy head. Kind of odd its not creamier. To the nose there are scents of cocoa, wine, light coffee and roasted malt. First sip was slightly creamy with way too much carbonation for a stout. Roasted flavours with hints of cocoa and toast. Finish is smokey with a thin palate.

This IPA poured a medium amber colour with a quickly diminishing, off white, frothy head. No lacing. Scents include citrus hops, orange juice and grass. First sip was quite thin but hop flavourful with flavours of grassy hops, malt and light toast. Finish is bitter with the hop flavour lasting forever...
