Bottle. Biscuity caramel malt and musty citrus hop aroma. Clear copper with a large ivory head. Nondescript malt and astringent-metallic weedy hops flavor. Light body, soft carbonation.

From a bottle it does have a friendly aroma. Slight haze on a rather lemon looking beer. Yes, on the buds, more like a traditional fruit beer than a shandy. Dull lemon flavors on top of a typical dundee flavored beer. As expected.

Dark, slightly hazy amber with a small, off-white head. Caramel/cola scent. Taste is caramel malt, candied fruit... A little flat and stale, since it’s now retired......unknown bottling date. Probably ok in it’s prime..or better. Sweet malt, "brown" tasting. Rating indicates a little " benefit of the doubt"

Last one (out of 4) of their 2013 spring/summer Variety 12-pack purchased in Syracuse, NY. Pours a clean dark brown colour with ruby highlights. The head is big, creamy-foamy, beige, has good retention and dirty lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, chocolate milk, mild dark fruits and hints of molasses. Slightly creamy mouthfeel, but mostly wet. The taste is mild (like all of their other brews I have tried), with notes of chocolate, burnt malts, fruits and caramel. Good as an introduction to stouts and like written on the front label below the word "Stout", "Dark and drinkable".

Part of their 2013 spring/summer Variety 12-pack purchased in Syracuse, NY. Pours a clean deep amber colour with a frothy, off-white head, good retention and soapy lace. Starts off on mild fresh grassy hops, but eventually alcohol comes out to warm up the nose, with some caramel malts. Wet mouthfeel with a little dryness in the finish, from the hop. Again, mildly hoppy giving a little bitterness. Notes of roasted malts, nuts and grapefruits. This is a decent IPA for those who like the fresh hop aromas and flavours, but on a milder level.

Part of their 2013 spring/summer Variety 12-pack purchased in Syracuse, NY. Pours a clean golden colour with a frothy, slightly creamy white head, average retention and lots of dirty lace. Sweet malty nose with some alcohol. Very sweet tasting malt grain that leaves a cereal aftertaste. Reminds me of the sweetness of some malt liquors. Thankfully, some hop comes balancing things with some grassy notes in the end. Still, not my thing.

Part of their 2013 spring/summer Variety 12-pack purchased in Syracuse, NY. Pours a clean pale golden colour with a big frothy white head that lasts a while and gives out sticky-dirty lacing. Beautiful grainy cereal malt aromas found in brown bread dough. Malty taste as well, but not as much grainy, but mild biscuit flavour. Wet mouthfeel, but slightly creamy and medium-bodied. Not a bad rendition of the style, but the mouth does not hit the spot as much as the smell.

355ml bottle. Copper amber colour, off-white foam head and aroma of malt and light citrus. Taste is malt caramel with a light grapefruit tangy bitterness. Smooth mouth feel, light bodied, medium carbonation, dry finish. Quite OK.

Clear, pale gold with a tall white head. Scent is light, faint fruit and Sprite. Taste is sugary-sweetener soft-drink, lemon-lime. Watery, malt... Bland and artificial.
