BottlePours a clear deep medium amber with a nice creamy off white head. Heavy persistant lacing. Typical lager aroma. Cereal, light grains, wet paper and very littel hops. Flavors were similar. More bitter than I expected and a sweet maltiness, like honey maybe. Nice body. Lingering bitter note that is not exactly pleasant.

Bottle Pours a clear deep golden amber with a nice white head and very resiliant sheets of lacing. Aroma is a nice balance of fairly dark malts and floral hops. Slightly sour note. Flavor is a bit metallic and cardboard. Hops are quite mild and the feel is fairly thick with somewhat of a dusty or sediment feel. Not bad though.

Bottle at the Syracuse Holiday Brewfest Dec.04 2004. Golden ale with a light malty aroma. Decent malt with light hops in mouthfeel. Medium body. Good offering from Genesee.

Pour is a nice amber. Aroma is hops and a bit of malt. Flavor is hops but it does not really stand out. Good hops for a "lager". About the same as their pale ale but without the strong hops flavor.

Pour is a nice amber color with a big pillowy head. Aroma is hoppy. Flavor is a dry hoppy that is really tasty! Comparable in every way to SNPA but at half the price. Deffinatly recomended!

The Dundee beers are like craft brew lite. Ok but nothing to seek out, but cheap at least. +++Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bronze color with a large tan head that faded quickly. The aroma sour sour malts and light spice. The flavor is crisp, bitter and sour with a moderate sour fruity and lightly resiny hop presence. Longish sour, bitter finish. Nothing special but not bad.

2004 bottle. Pours a mild yellow with some light copper-oranges and white head. Aroma of light hops, appley and crisp. Flavor is pretty hoppy, I’m just glad you can at least taste them. Little malt to speak of, but one of High Falls’ better attempts. Medium to medium light body. Inoffensive. Grassy almost herbal flavors.

2004 bottle. Decants a light amber-brown with a small white head. Aroma of corn syrup, sourness, um that’s about it. Flavor is sour and has a high carbonation. No real sweetness to this, prety adjunct ridden. Body is peppered with overcarbonation. I could actually pick this out as a lager blind, I think, so that’s a plus.

Appealing sweetish amber colored lager, with a dense head. Caramelized malts and a hint of cocoa round out a light, slightly carbonic palate. Fairly pleasing.

I appreciate this beer, as it offers a nice drinkable session ale in a traditional vein. Nice copperish color, dense head. Earthy aroma, with caramelized hints and a definite citric hopping, grapefruit especially. Flavor is much the same, the earthiness comes through over a smooth, if light, palate. Still, its a session ale, not lacking in flavor.
