From cask. Pours cloudy yellow with a small, white and creamy head. Aroma is mild citrusy and crisp hoppy. Bitter, citrusy and crisp hoppy. Ends dry and crisp hoppy bitter.

At Gbbf 2011. From the brewery bar. Pale gold with a slight haze lasting white head via a sparkler. Dusty hay hop aroma. Touch if sickly pale male malt in the middle. Its a cold golden ale with a touch of character. Its ok I guess but frankly also a touch dull. Some hop sting on finish. Ok touch of peach on the fruit.

Bottled (from Beers Of Europe). Amber colour, small head. Aroma is not too much, some mild malts and hops (duh! surprise, but really, nothing to get in there). Flavour is some malts, rather bitter vegetably hops. Not that pleasant in any way.

Yellow orange color, thick white head. Pretty nice smell of fruits. Decent taste, sweet, fruits and a little bitter. Watery texture, low carbo and body.

Cask at GBBF 2010. A brown beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of nuts.

Cask. Reddish amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some toasted notes as well as dark fruits, wood and rather toffeeish. Flavour is quite much the same, but also has some raisins and mild riped fruits in it.

(Cask at Carpenterโs Arms, Marble Arch, London, 22 May 2011) Dark brown colour with hints of ruby. Frothy beige head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, raisins, prunes and dark bread. Malty taste with caramel, dark bread, toasty malt, raisins, prunes and a slightly bitter-sweet finish. Rather light body with smooth mouthfeel. A touch of sweetness and a mild bitterness. Quite nice.
