Description
We are a small and independent brewery which has been making great beer for over fifteen years, winning both SIBA and CAMRA awards for our beers.
We brew in small batches by hand with the utmost regard not only for flavour but also for quality and consistency, using the finest British barley and a mix of both Kentish and World hops.
A bit of history: Established in 1995 as The Swale Brewery Co in Milton Regis, Sittingbourne, moved to Grafty Green, Maidstone in 2001. Sold to the ancient Whitstable Oyster Fishery Company in 2003.
Note - Beers brewed by Swale prior to the 2003 purchase are listed separately under The Swale Brewery Co.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Hazy golden with a rough white head. Discreet aroma with a whiff of sweet malts. Medium body, heavy carbonation, weird bonbon-like accents and some exotic fruits. Dry and lightly sulphurous finish. Not unpleasant but very far from a Pilsener. 190209

clear yellow, thick white head. aroma is faint, mild, a bit buttery, citrussy. flavor is quite sweet, end a little bitter, reasonable pilsener like flavor, but for me a bit too sweet. sweetness is kinda strange, resembles honey more than sugar. corn?
