Description
We are a small and independent brewery which has been making great beer for over fifteen years, winning both SIBA and CAMRA awards for our beers.
We brew in small batches by hand with the utmost regard not only for flavour but also for quality and consistency, using the finest British barley and a mix of both Kentish and World hops.
A bit of history: Established in 1995 as The Swale Brewery Co in Milton Regis, Sittingbourne, moved to Grafty Green, Maidstone in 2001. Sold to the ancient Whitstable Oyster Fishery Company in 2003.
Note - Beers brewed by Swale prior to the 2003 purchase are listed separately under The Swale Brewery Co.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Egg aroma, light cornish note. Dry and bitter to slight spiced hoppy flavoured. Subdued malt note. Unusual bohemian given the UK hops profile - I got no what so ever Saaz from this.

Cask Conditioned at Akkurat, Stockholm
Amber color; medium head. Simple aroma, some apple peel and yeast. Quite thin mouthfeel, with dry caramel flavor and light tannins, also some yeast. The hops are quite positive, the lack of malt, of body and the presence of yeast are negative. Unbalanced experience.

Orange/amber colour with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of raspberries with some summergarden flowers and a little bread. Flavour has wheat, British yeast, and raspberries with a tart edge. Obvious summer quencher and a girly favourite.

Cask handpull at The Artillery Arms, Ramsgate. Copper. Very distinctive hop aroma. That’s pretty good. Nice tangerine fruit, excellent earthy hops. I’m quite impressed. Very drinkable tangerine hoppy strong bitter. Good spice on finish.

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor though added a note of butterscotch, leading to a dry bitter finish.
