Taster at GABS Auckland 2017. Pours black. Nuts, chocolate, vanilla, biscuit malt, marshmallow sweetness. Not really picking up any raspberry, which means it’s actually reminiscent of a plain Wagon Wheel, which is one of the most disappointing biscuits available. It’s a nice beer, but I feel like it has to lose points for making me talk at length, both while drinking and in this review, about how bizarre it is that the jam Wagon Wheel is so superior to the plain Wagon Wheel.
