Middie on tap at Welder's Dog, Tamworth. Pours a clear golden amber with a thin white head. Only a few bubbles. Nose of Turkish Delight, light caramel, distant fruit. Taste is nutty, sweet with lingering notes of pine resin and bubblegum. Alcohol noticeable at the end. Complex but approachable, not a sessioner.

(Can) Pours cloudy straw colour with tiny white head. Good aroma of mango and pine. Excellent mouthfeel with medium body and plenty of fine smooth carbonation. Good taste. A short-lived fruity start quickly transitions to hop bitterness. Good hop dominated IPA.

(Can) Pours clear golden with tiny white head. Great aroma of pine and citrus. Light body with good carbonation. Nice balanced, hop driven flavour. There’s fruit up front, gentle biscuit malt in the background and some good hop bitterness giving a long finish. Very drinkable IPA.

375ml can into pint glass. From BWS, Glen Innes. Hazy amber beer with light carbonation and sticky white head. Nose of tropical fruit and umami. Good viscous body, bitter and zingy in the mouth. Finish is herbal with pine and caramel notes. Nice understated IPA.

375ml can into pint glass. From BWS, Glen Innes. Medium hazy with a thin white head. Light nose of tropical fruit. Light, refreshing with a cleansing hoppy finish. Late herbal touches make this interesting but approachable.

Can into glass. At Element Bar, Coffs Harbour. Black as midnight, large creamy head. Smells of dark roasted malt and nutmeg. A bit floral even. Light mouthfeel. Taste and finish is more coffee than egg nog but there is a lingering hint of sweet nutmeg. Nice stout but a bit light on in the eggnog department.

From a 375ml can on 5/8/2020. Pours a crystal clear deep golden (not remotely hazy)with a small head. The aroma is slight, with just a touch of fruit. Tastes of sweet malt with mild citrus and tropical fruit, with a mild bitterness. The coconut and candy mentioned on the can is nowhere to be found. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Meh.
