12oz (thx, Terry M.!) @ Ryan's.
Aroma: American oak, tobacco, a bit inky, toasted barrel, bold, some sweetness.
Taste: along the same lines, a lot of toasted oak, medium- to full-bodied.
Overall: it's pretty good, but quite far from excellent BMs from Weller and Rye barrels.

Poured from 355mL bottle (pkg 8.25.21). Near black with no head. Woody bourbon, very smooth, feint ash and chocolate. The smoothness and integration is quite nice, but there's also something almost muted about it. Very good, but not quite excellent.

12oz (thx, Terry M.!) @ Ryan's.
Aroma: nice American oak, chcocolate, some booze.
Taste: a lot of toasted barrel, kinda on the thinner side for Voodoo, low to moderately sweet.
Overall: pleasant enough, but there's no sense of getting it specifically for Canadians who has access to Bas Canada beers, for example.

Poured from 355mL bottle (7-28-21). Near black with minimal beige head. Lots of woody bourbon, mild chocolate, some feint leather and soy sauce in the background. Oddly finishes a bit quickly like it's slightly thin bodied, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Murky peach with a large white head that left good lacing. Lightly bitter with stone fruit and citrus. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Aroma: smells like a spirit - so much of bourbon, heavy.
Taste: along the same lines. It is definitely one the most spirit forward beers I've ever had.
Overall: interesting, but it's too much of spirit here.

Poured from 355mL bottle (dated 07/2024). Very dark brown with almost no beige head. Light woody bourbon nose. Taste is very bourbon forward, becomes a bit one note, it's smooth and spirit-like, enjoyable, but not all that complex.
