Slight haze, gold, soft brett aroma, mellow bugs, some hop, light estery note that’s less ideal.

On tap at Garden Path, pours a hazy dark pinkish amber with a medium white head. Aroma is pungent, with intense barnyard funk, leather, and a underripe, tart red berries. Flavour is likewise quite pungent, with intense, tart red berries, big barnyard funk, and some hay. Finishes fairly acidic, funky, tart and fruity. Quite the blend. Works well despite being a tad abrasive. Very good.

Aromas are malt, Brett, citrus and spices. Flavors are similar to nose, bittersweet with a hint of tart. I think I can pick out some hops. Finishes with a decent bitterness. Really good saison.

Can with smudged/obscured code on bottom, drunk 2/22/26.
Oak-aged? Native yeast? Dry-hopped? 4.2% abv?!! Sign me the F up!
I'm definitely getting Brett, which is awesome! And I'm getting little, if any, toasted malt; also awesome. Grassy-floral dry hop isn't overdone and melds with the fruity, lightly tart, lightly grass/floral Brett. Malts underscore everything, with just a hint of toasted grain and a kiss of honey/caramel. Very aromatic and inviting.
Medium-bodied with tons of flavor for its size. More residual/raw honey character than fermented honey character. A bit less Brett in the flavor, making way for floral hops and lightly toasted grains. Nice malt depth but well-attenuated. Just a flavorful, funky, English bitter-esque beer that probably resembles the original thing much more than anything you get today (oak-aged, native yeast, Brett).
Where has Garden Path been all my life!? Chalk up another brewery that I need to buy everything I can from.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Can say’s 4.2% ABV. Hazy amber orange pour. Large rocky white head leaves spotty lacing. Yeasty malt aroma hints at honey and funk. Flavors of yeasty funk and tannic notes. Unusual for the style.

Can, with code 25238 on the bottom. Is this August 23rd, 2025? Not sure, though possibly. Drunk 2/12/26.
Smells fantastic! Neither too much acid, nor strange mixed fermentation character and the big Sacch character there, as a result, is exactly the real stuff; no clove-bubblegum-banana garbage. Honey, black pepper, yellow and green fruits, with rustic grains, a hint of mild oak and a touch of Brett. Very polished and aromatic.
Similar in the mouth, with tight, natural carbonation and no excessive acidity or oak. Big Sacch notes of cellar must, lots of rustic grain, pepper and a slight lemon and unripe nectarine character. Excellent malt depth and attenuation. Crisp, flavorful, balanced and refreshing and all at 3.8% abv, which is very impressive.
