Bottle. Black body under a big, dense creamy beige head. Aroma has dark malt, tonka beans/perfume and some cocoa. Taste is sweet and smooth with mild roasted dark malt, cocoa, dry fruit, chocolate, slightly perfumed and hint of smoke. Fine body and nice aftertaste. A bit original and rather tasty in a pleasant way.

Bottle. It pours a dark brown body under a small, dense dark beige head. Perfumed aroma with roasted malts, spiced hints, cocoa and a touch of burnt malts. It’s full-bodied, warming, semi-sweet and with a soft carbonation. Roasted malts, cocoa, burnt hints, cocoa notes and perfumed, spiced notes in the back, licorice too. Some faint smoke notes. Lasting finish that leads my thoughts to Barley Wine more than Imperial Stout. Sure nice, sure interesting. 201127

bottle from beerbay. clear dark brown, smooth light brown head. aroma is nutty, malts and brown sugar and caramel, port wine. flavor is roasted malts, blackberries, blueberries, wood, something herbal resembling but not quite like licorice, faint smoked notes. quite herbal and quite herbal bitter, very special flavor.
